In partnership with the Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency (CRESA) and other local agencies, Vancouver Public Schools is participating in a committee tasked with updating Clark County’s Hazard Mitigation Plan.

The Hazard Mitigation Plan is our community’s long-term strategy to reduce disaster losses caused by natural hazards such as earthquakes, floods, storms and wildfires. During the planning process, the committee examines the county’s vulnerability to disasters and identifies strategies or actions that can help reduce the impacts these hazards can have on the community.

As a member of the community, you are a key stakeholder and your input is valuable to this process. Please review the hazard mitigation plan and share your thoughts on the plan.
